Most challenging goal yet

Throughout my weightloss journey, my goals have been much like everyone else's: eat less than x amount of calories, lift this much weight, run so many miles, weigh this many pounds, wear a certain size of jeans etc. But this week I'm embarking on an entirely new goal - to stop saying hurtful and negative things about myself and to start treating my body with respect, kindness, and gratitude. I've worn everything from size 18 to 2 and wasn't happy at either extreme. I know that this will be very hard at first, but I really need to shift my mindset and give myself credit for how far I've come.

I'd say you've discovered the most important goal of all if your profile picture is the current version of you, there is nothing negative to say. you look amazing. I don't often put a lot of weight in what others say, but sometimes those that are kinda and care can be the ones to listen too. All that to say, you look as though you've showed strength and discipline to reach your physical goals, so i have no doubt you can conquer this newest goal also!
sincerely the best wishes to you!0 -

Thank you! I'm about 7 lbs lighter in that photo than what I'm at now. But my goal is to get back there0 -

Me too! This weight loss plan is just a part of my "become a better person in general" plan and honestly, it has made the weight loss part so much easier. The reduction in negative self-talk really helps to keep me on track because I don't get down on myself if I had a rough eating day.1

You have put in some hard work. You should feel very good about yourself & appreciate all the hard work you have put in. Only you know the little sacrifices you've made. By the way, I think you look great keep up the great work.0
