Using yesterday's calories?

I'm still new at this? I had a rather large lunch today so it will make it tough tonight. I did have 432 unused calories yesterday. Is it ok to use those?

Short answer: yes.
Some people like to set a weekly goal for themselves instead of a daily goal.
So lets say your daily goal is 1500 calories. Multiply that by 7 days, and you have 10,500 calories. You can eat however much (or little - within reason) you want each day as long as it evens out to 10,500 at the end of the week.1 -

I track my calories weekly and I found it works better for me. I naturally have days I eat higher and days I eat lower, depending on what I have going on. It was too stressful to manage daily. As @toxikon said, get your weekly calorie amount and stay within that.1
