I do a mixture of pumping and nursing. I was told I burn calories when doing so. How many calories can I add for that?

Usually it's around 500 cals/day. This does increase as baby gets bigger and eats more though.0

It will depend on how much you are feeding baby vs how much baby gets from other sources. If the baby is young and gets 100% fed by you, then the burn is higher. In time as baby starts eating solids and relies less on breastmilk, the burn decreases.
One strategy is to to set MFP for maintenance, eat those calories, and let the breastfeeding calories create your deficit.
Keep in mind that if you are still establishing your supply, restricting calories now could be harmful. Stay hydrated, get rest when you can (I know how absurd that bit of advice sounds) and if its been less than 8-12 weeks since your baby was born, focus on health & fitness more than weight loss.0
