Can't edit diary?

I completed my dinner entry an hour ago before eating, but then realised my potatoes went cooked and so didn't eat them. I can't seem to edit my diary to remove them though? Usually there's a pencil at the top but it's no there now? I'm using a tablet btw

*doh* I had it landscape orientation which it doesn't like. Worked perfectly in portrait..
