I was diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic about a year and a half ago. Originally, I struggled to control my blood sugar through excerise and medication.. But then i quit smoking and fell off the band wagon. The past 2 months i have recorded all my meals and have been exercising regularly and sometimes strenuously. I do 3-4 days of both cardio and weight training, including the c25k app. What jas go me so frustrated is my blood sugar levels! Two hours after my work out i checked my level and it was at 150! This doesnt make any sense to me because i have only consumed 600ish calories at this point, with 60% of the calories from protein. Can anyone explain this? Is anyone going through this as well??

I could but it would take too long

If I was in the same predicament I would eat a low fat plant based diet and see what happens

I suspect the liver. If your blood sugar is too low the liver will compensate with its glycogen stores. I would notice this effect first thing in the morning in a fasted state after eight hours not eating.

You work this out with smaller meals spaced closer together. Try a small protein drink before your workout.
