1460 calorie allowance?

Hey guys, So how exactly do we figure out what the correct daily calorie allowance is correct.
My diary and profile are completely open if you actually want to take the extra steps and examine, it's completely up to you.
I recently changed it to 1200, cuz the 1460 just seemed to high, and I was using the extra calories to snack when I wasn't even craving anything in particular.
I currently weigh 150 most days.
I am 65 inches or 5"5'.
I work a desk job, so minimal walking.
I do some form of cardio most days. (about an hour give or take)

** Also, my goal right now so I don't set the bar too high, is I'd like to lose 1 lb. a week**
My goal weight would be right around the 120 range. (I'm 150 now, as prementioned)

    LOL...1460 is nothing...it is certainly not "a lot." My wife is 38 years old and 5'2" and maintains on 2300 gross calories. She lost abut 1 Lb per week grossing around 1800 easily and consistently.
