I am currently doing Arnold's golden six people ask me why I do full body in the gym 3 days a week and say I should do a a modern split three days a week I don't know if what I'm doing is wrong but if it work for our Schwarzenegger why can't it work for me I am just lost it is only Week 1 and I'm looking for some guidance I am a 300-plus pound man trying to get in shape for my soon-to-be child I love lifting weights as a Young Man in high school and I lost it here is my routine remember it is a Monday Wednesday Friday
Squat 4 10
B Wide-Grip Flat Bench Press 3 10
C Chin-Up 3 failure
D Behind-the-Neck Overhead Press 4 10
E Barbell Curl 3 10
F Bent Knee Sit-Up 3-4 failure
I supplement my off days with Qui-Gon and Tai Chi I have found some nice videos on YouTube to help me with those too things they seem to help with the soreness and also relieving stress

There's nothing wrong with doing full body programs. That being said the program you are following has no variety. There's only one exercise per group and they're not necessarily the most effective exercises. I would look into a program that has greater diversity from day to day to ensure you are hitting all of the muscles and not building imbalances.
Something like this is probably going to give you a greater bang for your buck:

Big fan of full body 3x/week programs...but I'm not sure I like that one.
Well, actually I am sure I'm not a fan of that one1
