Hey, I'm Maya and I am a 19 year old female. I used to dance and play sport and be comfortable in my body. But the last year or so I am embarrassed to show my stomach and feel like my overall fitness is failing. I want to be fit and confident in my body. Somedays I find myself very motivated and ready to start, but it never lasts. I don't know how to keep myself going. I get stressed out and can't need the time to workout, then just give up all together. I work a 9-5 job with a 45 minute commute each way and spend my nights studying for a summer course. I need help, motivation and more time in the day! :)

I can't give you motivation - that's something that comes from within.

You need to make time for exercise. Try breaking workouts up into smaller pieces. Are you working out from home? That can save some time. My exercise started out very slowly, to build some consistency and because I was way out of shape. My goal was 60 minutes per week. Google YouTube for 10-15 minute workouts. Do 1 in the morning & 1 when you get home. Figure out what time you like best. Keep trying new workouts. If you find something that is "fun" for you - you will want to do it again and again. I kept track of my progress in a spreadsheet, but you could put stickers on a calendar too....anything to help you stay accountable.

If I workout in the morning it is done before any excuses can impede progress. My wife doesn't like me to go work out and disrupt our schedule, we work together too. I have adjusted my schedule to wake at 4:30 and go run. It is very much a habit now and I don't even need to set an alarm. It takes about two weeks to make it a habit.
