How to use protien shakes?

How do you use these products sucessfully. Whats your routine/ results and can you overload your bodu on them?

Protein shakes are most helpful if you cannot eat adequate protein. You can use them whenever you would like. Protein shakes do not cause weight loss or muscle gain, they simply help you increase protein.0

I use them to reach my protein goal, if I can't get there only using food.0

This will vary from person to person. Some people dont like drinking their calories, some people feel bloated after protein shakes so it really just depends on your body. For me, I usually drink a shake in the AM on the way to work (its just convenient) and post workout as I feel actual food fills me up more than a shake but for convenience I will use them. Like @usmcmp said, they will not cause weight loss or gain they just allow for easy ingestion of protein quickly.0
