For me I found a few hobbies that I really liked. I used to work in customer service and everyday I would stress out from my bosses and the customers I dealt with. It caused headaches, break outs, back pain, binge eating, and excessive weight gain. But before I found my hobbies, I had to tell myself that this has got to stop before it really gets out of hand and becomes detrimental to my health . Secondly, I started to look up things to do in my city. That led to this crazy adventure that got my wheels turning and before you know it, i'm taking dance classes, and hiking, and doing DIY projects. I started doing things I would not normally do and they turned out to be really fun and it helped me take my mind off of what was going on. I also got to meet some new folks in the process, which was unexpectedly awesome. I hope you find a nitch if you haven't, it really helps!1

To keep my hands busy, knitting or crochet.
A guided meditation script.
A breathing exercise - as simple as it sounds.
I got through a really stressful job recently by picking an obsessive hobby that totally consumed my weekend (helped turn my brain off). I was sewing my own clothes.0
