Hi, I am looking for help please as I just can't lose the last few pounds and have been like this for years. Currently I don't log food as I am following slimming world and log for that separately. I am averaging around 1300 to 1500 calories a day and get my 10 000 steps a day with weekend extra walks and odd runs here and there so not much exercise but my choice of food is pretty good.
I am just looking for ideas of what people did for those last few pesky pounds

let it go, focus on sustainability and adopt small improvements very very slowly! Like add 500 or 1000 steps a day. Don't go crazy and burn yourself out - slow does it!

    Became really really patient...

I need at least 3 good weeks for the scales to move even slightly.

    You have a few options:
Set "the last pounds" somewhere else. You decide your goal weight. The lower the weight, the fewer calories you'll need to get there and stay there.
Log food here, pick a calorie goal, and stick consistently to it, and be extremely patient and accurate. Weight loss at normal weight will be painfully slow and gets progressively more difficult.
Don't worry so much. Don't exercise for weight loss. Don't think you have to eat this not that food. Maybe learn to accept and like your body just as it is.

I'd look into recomping (and reverse diet your way there).

A smaller body uses less energy, so aim for as much accuracy as possible in your logging. Food scale for all solid food. Meat, veggies, fruit, bread, etc. Account for the calories in cooking oils, condiments, beverages. Enter your own recipes. Make sure the data behind what you're logging is accurate. I don't know about the database on the site you use for logging, but don't automatically assume its all correct. Check the listings against USDA or labels or some other reliable source.
