Is it bad to do weight training and cardio on the same day? Like if I lift then run?

No, it is fine. If one or the other is your main focus, I'd tend toward doing that one first just because you'll likely have more energy for it. But experiment and you'll decide which way feels best.0

I usually don't do both on the same day because one or both of them will suffer performance-wise. Maybe that's because my running is usually long-distance on trails. I wouldn't really have the energy to do both in the same day. I usually take a day off between the two to recover. But I definitely do both running and weight training as part of my usual fitness routine. I think they complement one another nicely. My running really improved after adding in a weight routine.
I can't see a reason why you couldn't do both if it feels right and doesn't cause any problems. Enjoy!0
