Resistance training without a gym

For financial reasons I will soon have to cancel my gym membership and PT sessions. I have come a long way and don't want to go backwards. I am thinking of buying a Swiss ball and some weights whilst I am still earning at my current rate. Any other suggestions?

Resistance tubes and bands.
I also invested in a book on strength training (It's specifically geared toward women and has multiple exercises for each muscle group at different levels. YouTube has workouts as well. My problem is that I only have a desktop computer and no room in my office to work out while watching the video. A book is portable.
You're on the right track with the Swiss ball (I call it a stability ball, but from the Google image, we're talking about the same thing) and the weights. You should probably get a mat for floor work and some stretches. I have a cardio step. And a Nerf soccer ball, because that book I mentioned calls for using a ball for 3 of the warmup exercises. (At some point, I might increase the intensity by shifting to a medicine ball; the book says it'll make it more challenging. For now, though, it's not a priority.)0 -

do a utube search on HIIT or full body interval training. U can do them anywhere n some doesnt even need any equipment. There r tons so pick ur own level. GOOD LUCK!

Not sure how much you are paying or what city you are in but If you have a Planet Fitness check them out. It is $10 a month where we live.
Also, if you have a Ymca I know they have programs available..might be worth a call. My friend works there and they have many members that pay little to nothing.0
