Hey there, so i'm a rather unhealthy individual at the moment, and I'm at the point where I can manage maybe 100-400 calories a day. I've got an ongoing illness that makes eating nearly impossible, and keeping up vitamins even harder. I've tried all the protein/nutrient drinks like Boost and Ensure, I've tried energy bars, and even nutrient enriched milk. Unfortunately, all of those still upset my stomach to the point where they do more harm than good.
If anyone has any suggestions as an alternative, and easily stomached way to get some protein and vitamins, it would be much appreciated!
*note: I would like to try to avoid wheat, if possible, and eggs. Eggs seem to hate me.
Thank you!

What has your doctor suggested?
Full fat dairy, peanut butter, nuts and seeds, avocado, olive oil2 -
They told me to eat the BRAT diet, which really isn't a solution at all. Especially since this has been going on for 7 years.
I'll give your suggestions a go, though. Especially the avocado.
Are nuts and seeds easy I digest? I read somewhere they were considered 'roughage' or something, and harsher on your digestion.0 -
Have you tried the new ProNourish drink? Are there certain foods you know that trigger your symptoms?1

Have you considered that your stomach might not tolerate dairy and soy?
If I were you I'd try a vegetarian protein drink blended with water or ice. If you tolerate that add a banana.1 -

And unfortunately it's kind of up in the air about food intolerances. One day crackers are good, the next they aren't. One week I can stomach chicken, two weeks later I can't.
I like your idea of the protein drink with water/ice, though!0 -

They're right on Amazon, wow. XD
Thank you for recommending them, I totally forgot they existed.

I've been using this one for a few weeks.

Look at the ingredient list.
If you can tolerate vanilla unsweetened almondmilk, the combination tastes quite nice.
I tasted that brand after a year of using Body Fortress, and my taste had been conditioned to prefer Body Fortress. The MRM, at first, did not taste pleasant. One of my mfp friends enthusiastically suggested I mix it with vanilla unsweetened almondmilk. I did and that made the MRM tolerable. Soon I became conditioned to prefer the taste of the MRM and now it's even something that tastes good mixed in only water. What's odd is that now when I taste the Body Fortress, it's unpleasant. It's interesting to observe my preferences changing so quickly.1 -
