Hello, does anyone take Cyanocobalamin tablets for B12 Deficiency and have you noticed a sudden weightloss? I have been trying to lose weigh for a month now and my doctor has been giving me Cyanocobalamin injections as a boost to my B12 Levels as my body doesn't absorb b12 from food properly I've been losing between 1 and 2 lbs per week but noticed this week i'd lost an amazing 7lb! Does anyone know whether the injections have caused this or not? I'm just curious as my doctor has now put me on Cyanocobalamin tablets for the foreseeable future. Thanks.

If any lethargy has been addressed by getting your B12 levels up so you're moving around more and potentially a decrease in eating that can happen to try and combat the tired then sure, it might be possible.

That said, 7lbs in a week is alarming.

7lbs is a pretty scary weight loss for just a week. It would also be remarkably difficult to do. Is it possible you were retaining water before, related to your B12 deficiency, and this allowed you to shed the water weight to reveal your existing weight loss (if that makes sense)? I also agree with another person that the lack of lethargy might be involved.
