Duh. I've been preparing and posting pancake pics for like seems forever and hadn't thought of posting them here. Today's trial I call the Elvis Crepe because of its hidden protein power from eggs, PB2, and debittered Brewer's yeast.

83 calories per serving (exclusive of trimmings): 8.4 g carbs, 4.5 g fats, and 6.5 G protein.

The recipe:

? You use kefir as a pancake topping? I hadn't thought of that but it might be worth a try. Does the tartness of the kefer need any additional amendment?

Actually I used the Kefir in the batter. This was a very soft pancake. That's yogurt, banana, and shredded coconut on top.

Crepes, yes. Which I consider to be flat pancakes. Which are identical to German pancakes and Hungarian Polachinta.

First marriage to a German and second marriage to a Hungarian. Both sets of in-laws tried to show me how to make their Crepes.

Looks a lot like last week. I used PB2 in the batter and yogurt this time.

Pb and banana is a great combo!
I have pancakes most Sundays too - zucchini protein pancakes, usually with PB&J, and mixed berries :)

    These are crepes.

I typically only put skim milk, flour, and eggs in the batter... comes to 90-110 calories depending on how big I make them (and how thin the batter is... still looking for that perfect balance of thin enough but won't break when I flip it).

Man, I love me some pancakes. Crepes, too. Also the ones my tiny Norwegian ggma used to make filled with lingonberry jam. OMG, so good.

    Lingonberry. Sounds delicious.
This is a fluffy pancake with a full scoop of vanilla protein powder. I'm presenting it with strawberry jam and cottage cheese.

Yum! I missed my pancakes today as I had to work all day, and we met friends for breakfast beforehand. I may have to make up for it tomorrow :)
