Hi everyone - I'm reaching out for low carb veggie juice recipes. I'm willing to try new things and would love to see what you think is good.

Also, does a juiced vegetable have the same carb content as its non-juiced version?

Thanks everyone!

Have you considered a "chunky" smoothie instead? It will have some fibre to slow down the BG spike that juice causes... Juice just is not very low carb.

When I was lower to moderate carb, I would have a smoothie of spinach, avocado, cucumber and stevia or a kiwi. Sometimes I added hemp hearts too. That's about as low carb as I can think of...

Yeah, basically juice is removing the fiber, so no juice will be low carb (except to the extent it's super low cal).

The net carbs from a juiced vegetable are much higher than from the non juiced, as you are (again) removing the fiber. So to determine carbs count total carbs of the vegetables you add.

I'd think that if you are low carbing eating your vegetables whole would be ideal, or in a smoothie that also contains some protein and fat.

I'd recommend just googling low-carb fruit/veggies and going through the lists to find the most palatable creations you could make. I'm thinking spinach and berries would be okay. I've never juiced anything before so I'm not much help lol.
