I hope I can make this a lifestyle

For 5 months I've been flat out depressed and I've been binging on rubbish and smoking heavily. I've never felt or looked unhealthier. Three days ago I started a workout programme and I picked a diet where I would lose 0.5kgs a week. I'm allowed to eat close to 2000 calories a day after workout and it doesn't feel like it's enough. I have this urge to nibble on something. The thing is I quit cigarettes 3 days ago as well but I have no cravings there, just the food. I have this constant urge to wrap my arm around whatever I find and bite the crap out of it. I really hope I can continue this lifestyle and get back to fitness.

If you have a sweet tooth, this is my favourite thing ever:

    1 scoop chocolate protein powder
    1-2 tbsp cocoa powder
    1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Combine in Kitchenaide with whisk attachment (or handmixer). Whip for 5 minutes until fluffy and creamy.

Enjoy! It tastes just like rich chocolate mousse and you get a big bowlful for only 150 calories or so.

If you're more of a savoury guy, crunchy pickles or veggies are great. You can make your own high-protein veggie dip with greek yogurt mixed with a packet of Ranch seasoning.
