Should I focus a little more in weight training now?

So I'm down 45 pounds. Sw210, cw 164,gw 140. I have been hitting cardio really hard. I burn usually between 300-450 calories with straight cardio. I do weights like 3 times a week. I usually do about 20 minutes of weight per work out. I still have a little over 20 pounds of fat I would like to lose. My issue is time. I don't have alot of time on my work days to work out. I work full time, part time college student and full time single mother of 4 kids. I usually do rush workouts that are about 45 minutes before I have to shower and get to work. On my days off I usually work out for 90 minutes or so. I like burning more calories so i have more calories to eat. When is a good time to start spending more time with weights and cutting down the cardio? I usually work out at least 5 times a week. Sometimes 6. I love working out now. It's something I have come to enjoy. TIA

    I always recommend lifting!!! F
Many programs can be done in 45 minutes. I never go longer than that. Lifting will help change your shape!

Any time is a good time. Best time is day 1 so you're already behind the game. Pick a program and go!

So if three of your five sessions per week are what resistance training, look to the quality of those sessions rather than anything else.

What do you do in those three sessions?

Squats. Dead weights, the resistance machines for the whole body.
