Physio therapist can also help. My GP just did an MRI and gave me muscle relaxants. That isn't going to fix anything. And it didn't. My disc eventually burst and now I have paralysis down my leg where the pain used to be. Drop foot by age 35. Boo.
My advice is to not ignore it. Get it fixed if you can.1 -
I had it for 6 weeks and broke down and took the steroids. I was on 20 mg for 7 days. I actually lost 2 pounds and my back pain went away. It took another 2 weeks for the numbness in my foot to go away.

I have a DVD that has helped mine immensely. If I would just do it consistently, I'd probably be pain free.
