I'm having a tough time getting an accurate weight on my scale. During the day, I weigh in at different numbers ??? My scale is fairly new and good. The numbers are about 2-3 pds weight difference.

Most folks weigh first thing in the morning, after using the toilet and before eating or drinking. This minimizes the variables of hydration, food, and waste in your system - all of which have weight and cause the fluctuations you're seeing throughout the day.

Yep that's normal - pick a time, be consistent.

You don't have just one weight, you have a range that fluctuates throughout the day and day to day and week to week. With a decent set of scales all those weights are "accurate" but only for that instant you step on the scales.

You could use one of the trending apps which might help you understand what are your personal weight fluctuations.

you need to pick a time of day and always weigh at that time, every time you drink something or eat something you will go up a little when you go to the loo you will come down a little.

My weight fluctuates In the evening after my main meal I am around 2 lbs heavier than I was first thing in the morning. I always weigh first thing in the morning :)

I weigh only in the morning if I do. Usually right after my workout.

Of course you do. Food and drink goes into you, and waste and sweat come out. Those things have mass. A litre of water will weigh 1kg whether it is in a bottle or in your belly.

You need to pick a time and be consistent. For many (most?) the best time is first thing in the morning, after going to the bathroom and while undressed or in light clothing.
