Almost Halfway there

I started with the MFP on March 23. My goal is to lose 55 pounds. After 70 days I am down just over 24 pounds and feeling better than I have in long long time. MFP put me on a goal of 1560 kcals/day. I am normally pretty close to that, however, now that I have added daily biking, do tend to eat back some of the "expended calories." However, I normally stay within 10 - 20 percent of my daily goal.
Having tried Atkins and others before, I do like the motivation that MFP provides me when I see my projected weight at the end of my daily diaries. I actually feel like I am making a lifestyle change. I'm not giving in to my high fat or high carb cravings like I used to. It's hard, but seeing progress helps.
It does get challenging to find variety on a limited calorie diet, but Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers really bail me out at lunch. I use a high protein powder with almond milk for breakfast.
I love the simplicity of MFP.
