Should I be drinking half my weight in ounces a day? Ex) I'm currently at 254 lbs so it would be 127 oz.... I walk for 30 mins 3-4 days/week. How much water do you drink?

I drink to my thirst. I've noticed lots of other people who have successfully lost weight and are maintaining (or are still losing weight but making good progress) are doing that too according to their responses to posts like this.
The idea that there is a perfect amount of water to drink is a myth. Don't forget that virtually everything you drink (except for alcohol) will contribute to your hydration -- as well as a lot of the foods that you eat (a lot of them contain water).

There is absolutely no reason to drink that much water (unless you're doing heavy manual labour in hot humid weather) The average adult needs around 2 litres (64oz) of fluids a day and that includes water in food, tea, coffee etc etc etc.
Drinking too much water may actually be counterproductive in terms of electrolyte balances (in extreme circumstances drinking too much water has killed a number of long distance runners - google hyponatremia).
Follow your thirst.....1
