Mindset change

So... bad news first. I went way over my calorie limit several days in a row. I injured my hamstring (again, grrr), so I can't run for a few weeks. TOM came right around these two things and brought with it new and improved cravings. Thanks, Mother Nature. I really did enjoy the crackers dipped in salt, but I probably shouldn't!
The good news: It's okay. I'm okay with all this. I'll get back to my calorie deficit and back to running (hopefully) soon. The TOM cravings will be managed better next month.
I accept that there will be bad days, weeks, maybe even months sometimes. That inner voice that says, "Oh, you've blown it. Might as well give up," is a liar!
That's all. Have a lovely day, MFP.

I have finally made this transition myself. We can't be perfect 100% of the time, so why would we sabotage our efforts when we mess up by messing up more?
