Hello everyone, I used to be really consistent and on top of everything when I began my fitness journey. Recently I have not been seeing the results I want and I feel like all my hard work is being wasted. I've lost my motivation to keep going. Anyone have suggestions or tips? Thanks.

First I would say you need to give yourself some credit. If you were lacking motivation you wouldn't be here at all!

    - Be honest with your logging
    - Use a food scale if possible, this isnt to be obsessive, it is to be ACCURATE. More important the lower your BF%
    - Set your expectations to your goals within reality ( you will likely be losing between .5-2lbs per week depending), Dont get discouraged.
    - Double check your food entries with google to make sure you are using the proper numbers (Database has some bad entries)
    - Recalculate your TDEE and adjust your plan accordingly
    - be careful of not overestimating your exercise calories, Especially if you plan on eating some of them back.

Hopefully these will help you figure out where you are going wrong.

    Good luck!

Good stuff there by pawn. I can't get as thorough as that bit ill say this.

Are you finding it's the results on the scales your not seeing ? If so nothings linear. I've had weeks like that where I find I exercise more and them eat less cos it goes on for weeks and I get the hump. I then find it makes it worse. So try measuring inches or keeping an eye on biceps etc. You might be seeing results in other areas. That can motivate. See muscle replace fat etc. I use a body analyser too.

I find nothing wrong in having a little blow out too and getting a good night out in. As long as u get back on it. Anything to clear the mind and refocus I then find results start showing again. But everyone's different.

Don't be hard on yourself and keep going! And be proud your trying
