What is wrong with my body??

I joined MFP on May 10th, 2017 and have started tracking my food intake (I do use a scale to weigh my food). I am 5' and weigh 105 lbs. I am a runner and I do lift weights as well. My goal is to be lean and toned (if I can lose 2-3 lbs it would great).
Before joining MFP I had been starving myself without realizing it (consuming only 700-800 calories per day). But since joining MFP I have been consuming close to 1200 calories per day (per MFP's recommendation). I have also reduced my running and now I am lifting heavy weights.
I thought I would be a little bit leaner after eating enough calories and lifting heavy weights. Instead my pants are now tight and my body feels fuller (although my weight has not increased). What is wrong with my body? I am so frustrated!!
Please help!! Thank you in advance.

Sometimes it takes a few weeks for the metabolism to adjust. Give it some time.0

Hmmm. You haven't been at it long, so I'd recommend waiting a bit. Maybe you're just bulking since you were previously eating so low. Strange about no weight change, though. Sorry, I'm no help. Best wishes.0

its a hard question since we dont.know ur BF% n how heavy u r lifting but u r eating more than before. maybe u were unhealthy skinny(even though u didnt think so) when u were eating 700 cal a day. hard to say unless u post pics. otherwise, give give it a little time0

Make sure you are drinking you water too. That is a HUGE factor for me and my weight fluctuation from time to time. I am NO WHERE near where I need to be, and it still effects it.
Also I agree, it has only been not even a full month for you. This takes time, but your body needs to adjust. You got this!0 -
You are undertaking new activities and putting new demands on your body. Muscles swell when they are self-repairing (water weight).1

Did you indicate to MFP you want to lose weight or maintain?0

How are you measuring your food? Food scale, measuring cups/spoons, eyeballing?0

Sometimes it depends on what types of food you are consuming as well. You are also lifting heavier and running less so you will be building different muscles so you are just feeling the difference in training routines.0

At 5' and 105 pounds you are at a healthy weight. Why do you want to loose more? If you just want to build muscle - that takes A LOT of time. Especially for women.

Not to discount the BMI index but I don't recommend anyone use it to base your overall health. Base your overall health on how you feel and your overall mobility and just day to day life. You shouldn't base your health on the scale.1

OP only mentions losing 2 to 3 lbs, and even that as something that would be "not bad," suggesting it's not as high a priority as being "lean and toned" (presumably meaning lowering BF%). At 5-feet-even, going from 105 to 102 is not going to more her from a healthy weight to an unhealthy weight.0 -
one cant really take BMI as an accurate yard stick to measure healthy or ideal weight coz it is only a statistical average. it will fit a person if that person is average in terms of height n weight. BMI tells me that i m borderline obese but i m quite lean since my BF is at around 15% or under. i had a gf who is 5.2 n lift 3 times a weeks. she look her best at 100lbs but BMI will say shes under weight. the fact is that not everyone has an average weight n height n BF% is a more accurate measurement for ideal weight0
