How long do you give yourself to lie in bed to fall asleep until you get out of bed? I give myself 15-20 minutes.

If I don't have to work then about 30. If I have to work, an hour.

Most alpha phases last 15-20 minutes. Are you having trouble sleeping?

I usually stay up until I fall asleep, often still sitting up.
If I lie down and try to sleep it doesn't usually happen, but I just lay there anyway until I have to get up or hopefully fall asleep.

Once I'm in bed. 2-3 minutes tops. Problem is I am a night owl, so I stay up late.

I try to be ready to sleep as soon as I get on bed. I take a niacin at night so hopefully asleep before it starts to work otherwise I have to endure the tingling and flush before I sleep
