New Mom needs some help losing the weight

Hello everyone,

I have made the decision it is time to lose weight! I had a baby in December and during pregnancy i gained quite a bit of weight, I was heavy prior to the pregnancy but it has gotten worse. I am having knee and back problems now due to the weight and I am just done, I WANT to be a healthy, active and happy mom to my son and a great wife to my husband. But i need to put myself first and start taking care of this weight. I am looking for a buddy to help me in this journey, someone to give me helpful tips, motivation when I don't want to do something and just there experiences of weight loss.

    I know where you are coming from regarding knee problems, as I've got a torn meniscus in one of mine. However, thanks to losing some weight (abotu 20lbs so far this year), it's beginning to get better on its own. Happy to help where I can. Add me as a friend so we can communicate if you like.

    Hi! I am a first time mom as well, my son will turn a year old this month! I'm looking to get in better shape than when I first got pregnant (I was a little overweight to begin with) before we decide to have another kid! If you want to add me, we can try to keep each other on track!

    I'm a mom trying to lose, too, and my "baby" is nearly 8. Ha. You have a good reason for struggling. I remember how exhausting it was having a baby in the house. It's hard to get anything done, much less follow a diet plan or have enough time or energy for exercise. Good for you that you're already committing. I have no excuse anymore. Time to get this done! I'm tired of being fat. Friend me!
