Just saying hi :)

Hi,
I just joined I lost weight on weight watchers then kinda got burned out. And felt I need to try something new so here I am. I have the fitness thing down but now I need to learn what to put in my mouth. So I'm hoping this will help. I'm from AZ and enjoy walking I even wake up early to go because it is so hot here :( So for now I'm just saying hi and exploring this site.

    Hello! I also lost weight on Weight Watchers one time. I ended up gaining 24 of the 60lbs I lost back because it's just not realistic to track "points" constantly. I got sick of it. Then there's their changing the formula every year, causing you to have to re-buy all of their materials if you wanted to log properly. Sheeeeeesh.

    Anyway, MFP blows Weight Watchers out of the water (in usefulness and price.) You can use the "Food Notes" section to still make sure you're getting the servings of fruits, veggies, milk, and healthy oils that you're accustomed to through WW. And all the friends you can add here are JUST as motivational as the meetings. A good way to find like-minded people is to search the message boards for a specific topic that appeals to you.
