calorie intake questions

My "net calories consumed" is 1200 to lose 1lb a week. I've been reading in different message boards that this amount is too low. I also workout so i burn a good amount of calories. I try to eat my burned calories but sometimes even at that I only eat 1400 at the most. If 1200 is the amount that MFP suggest would i have problems dropping the weight? I eat good meals and snacks... im not starving at all. what do you all think? :huh:

    as long as you are netting 1200 cals after exercise I think you should be fine and your body wont be starving

    I have been on 1200 calories since February. I have lost 36 lbs so far. You just cannot go under the 1200 / it is really not recommended. When I work out, I eat most if not all of those calories back. I hope this helped.
