Is 250 calories enough to lose

I try to go walking everyday with a rest day today on Saturday, I'm using MapMyWalk and it says I burn 250 calories by doing 1hr 20mins,

I work as a chef and work really long hours so don't get to exercise as much as I'd like, but on my days off I go shopping in the town centre so I'm doing more walking. I'm currently eating 1500-1600 and I'm eating more salads and fruit and drinking more fruit juice and water.

But with only burning 250 calories by my walking will I still lose weight?

Weight loss is mostly about the calories you consume. If you consume more than your body uses you gain weight, if you consume less than your body uses you should lose weight.

Did you fill in your profile? How many calories were you allocated to lose weight?

I wouldnt bother with the fruit juice personally. I try to avoid drinking calories if i can. But to each his own.

As a chef, you're on your feet all day, that burns calories...

Walking is good, whether you use it for the burn or just health. I prefer people not focus so much on the calorie burn of exercise, and handle that predominantly with their food intake. Also watch the amount of fruit juice, big calorie bombs with no satiety or other benefits.

As long as you're in deficit, yes.
