Adding to my fitness routine

So I have a group fitness membership to do classes at a local gym. I really like it, they have great trainers and a supportive community. I go 3-5 times a week. The 45 min classes vary in name, but are all a mix of cardio/bodyweight strength exercises that are full-body (push ups, planks, squats, lunges, bear crawls, burpees, mountain climbers, jumping jacks, jump rope, etc). Lately, they have changed a few of these classes to yoga (whatever the slow, mindful yoga type is) which I enjoy like once a week to clear my mind and stretch. But that means that of the 6 days there are classes, 4 of these would be the ones I would get a good workout in and 2 would be stretchy yoga (most weeks).
My problem is this: I have got the fitness bug. After several months of these classes, I am starting to get restless, and wanting to do more (not replace per se, just more). The gym I pay for is not a traditional gym- they have gear and stuff for the classes but there is no "open" gym for me to go when I want to do something else outside class hours (owner works another job during the day). I really have felt very good going here and want to keep going (to at least some of) these classes.
I am wondering what I can do to add something different. I have been itching to do more strength training with free weights (to build up to barbell someday). Can I add a few days of strength training to this without overdoing it? Is there a good balance of days I should do weight training vs. these other classes? Most strength programs assume some rest days and/or split cardio and strength into different days, but since the classes all combine both elements (minus the yoga), I don't know how to add something different very easily (as a newbie). Or is there something else that would be beneficial instead? I don't mind investing a little in some at home free weights or joining a cheap chain gym, but I don't want to do that without understanding a little more and getting some advice from more experienced people.
FYI- I am losing weight at the moment, so my fitness goals are getting stronger and healthier and keep pushing to do stuff I enjoy doing.
Thanks!

Sounds like a cheap chain gym membership & a 2x a week full body, compound movement routine would fit nicely.1

Okay, thanks. I just didn't want to try and overdo it too much. So I will use one of the strength training beginner programs and mix in 2x a week (maybe 3 for the yoga when I can) classes. Probably was overthinking this. Appreciate it!0
