Real mayo! ...it's one of my favorite foods and I will sacrifice other foods to fit a generous helping of it onto my sandwiches and egg/tuna salads.

I usually keep two different mayos and a mayo substitute on hand. My real fave is Kewpie, but it's pricey, so I only use it when the mayo is really a star ingredient. For normal mayo applications I use Helman's original.

And if I need to be lower in calories, I use nonfat plain greek yogurt. In some cases it's an acceptable substitute.

But a very nice egg salad dressing can be made with just a good mustard and some white wine.

It really depends on what's cheaper and/or how much room I have. If mayo happened to be on sale when I ran out, it'd be what I'd use for future meals. The same would be true if Miracle Whip were the item on sale.

I use light mayo (but not Miracle Whip...I hate the taste of that)(usually the 'olive mayo' that is 50%), then use a smaller amount and extra mustard.

mostly I eat the hard boiled eggs as is (readily portioned out without extra work by me) with either honey dijon mustard, spicy brown mustard, balsamic glaze, or hot sauce.

I use olive oil mayonnaise for making tuna/chicken sandwiches. The calories aren't that bad, I weigh it out and don't really need to use much. It still fits my goals.
