So I increased my weights until I felt the burn on my legs and my butt... today I'm sore...with each set u can say I did it 100 times the weight... I did do the treadmill but nothing big... I'm actually on my month also. Do u think cause I'm sore I should take a few days off at the gym...??

Depends on how sore. Slight pull when you stretch, probably fine to continue. Agonizing pain when you sit down on the toilet and then need to use your arms to pull yourself back off, probably good idea to rest a couple days.
Are you following a specific lifting plan? If yes, what is recommended for rest days with it (often, but not always, it is recommended to either workout every second day when doing full body programs)? If no, then consider looking at an established program, at least until you become more knowledgeable.0 -

I usually work out 7 days a week... but I break them up... arms chest one day and legs and butt the next.... I do stomach everyday but today... monthly cycle is pretty bad so I wasn't going too... I always give the upper or lower day rest... and there have been a few days that I've just done stomach cause I was in a rush to get out by my teenage brats....0 -
So are you saying you alternate between....
Legs and Butt
Chest and Arms
Continuously without an actual rest day?
or are you breaking those muscle groups up even more across the 7 days?0 -
If your legs are sore, you can go train your back or shoulders. And walking on the treadmill or cycling would probably do you the world of good!2

If it's just DOMS burning sore, then best thing for it is a nice light walk or jog or ride on the elliptical.2

Is this a structured program or one you made up on your own????0

Pay no attention to the 'burn', it means nothing. Pay attention to slowly, patiently continuing to increase the weight on the bar. You will have some days that you are sore from and some days you leave the gym thinking you didn't do much. No matter, the weight on the bar says you're getting stronger. Take a day off once in a while though otherwise you won't be able to recover and you will not get stronger.1

Moving and continuing the routine will make the soreness subside. Don't skip workouts because of soreness. I have read that segmenting body areas is perhaps targeted toward advanced lifters. If you are just pushing the weights, it seems you are more a beginner. You may want to consider going to a three day a week whole body routine that is pre-structured. Not sure if you are winging it with your home made routine or not. I really like the every other day rest days and love the Sun and Mon off days. Off days doesn't mean you don't move or not be active, it just means no weights. Let your body recuperate.2
