TOM sucks!

Why is it that when I'm PMS'ing all I want to do is eat? Ugh! It's like this every month. It is really annoying. I've managed to do fine so far today but it's rough...
I'm supposed to weigh in tomorrow and I'm scared.... I did fine this week as far as my eating and exercise but I feel so bloated and yucky... My clothes aren't fitting right.... ugh!
Anyway, sorry to vent....

I know how you feel! I'm expecting mine this coming Sunday...and Sunday's my weigh in day! :(:( You can blame it all on the hormones, and keep in mind that you can't control what your hormones want you to do, but you can control what you decide to do. Just keep drinking plenty of water to flush everything out and try your best to stay on track!0

my weighin is soon and my TOM just came so i'll be so bloated at least i know that the weight gain or no weightloss is due to that.0

water, water, water!!! I have noticed that I drink more water during TOM, because I'm afraid of the bloating..and I end up losing. Eventhough everything that can't run away fast enough is ending up in my mouth! especially if it's made out of chocolate.0

I hate it too! TOM makes me feel so crappy:sick: that i eat EVERYTHING and i dont feel like working out. My last one was a bad one :grumble: ... i was sooooo bloated that i had to unbutton my pants at work. Thank God i sit behind a desk all day n nobody really comes into my office! lol0

On the up side...at least you know it's just TOM driving you to eat. You're still motivated and still committed and after TOM has visited you'll have a great drop!
MFP has taught me to take TOM with a grrain of salt.

I now do NOT weigh in during TOM week, which is this week too. The last two times, while I knew there was a reason, there was no weight loss on the scale. The following week would there would be anywhere between a 3-6 pound loss from two weeks before. So, to save myself the discouragment, I quit weighing that week and wait until the following week weigh in.0
