Look up Carter good on Instagram or on the web (infographics). There are good fast food choices out there. You just have to make them.

I think it is better to eat for energy and to avoid bingeing. But could you pack food from home in a cooler?

So some of the 'healthier options' are just as bad.. .The chili is often a happy surprise calorie wise. Which fast food place are you looking at?

My options were McDonald's and chickfila

ARGH! We have no chick fila in Canada...i've heard it's awesome. I have half a kind to go out of my way this summer to find one.

The time I had it, it was pretty boring and bland. It's a piece of breaded chicken and a couple of pickle slices on a cheap bun. If it was convenient and there were no better options I guess I'd go there. But I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it. Not sure what the fuss is. Marketing I guess... :|

It is okay to skip a meal. It's okay to call that intermittent fasting (I'll get used to it, lol.)
    It's okay to cry.
It is okay to just eat something when you are hungry.
It is very good to stop smoking. Well done!
Losing weight if you are overweight is good.
    Moving is good.
Planning meals is good. You can bring food.
Educating oneself about healthy eating is good.
Being scared of food is not good.
Thinking about eating and moving as a wagon, is not good.

Stick around here, try new things, be good to yourself. Live, learn and enjoy.

See the McDonald's menu with calories listed:

The cheeseburger is 300 calories (without the fries).
If you eat a too many calories at lunch, eat less for dinner.

They have calories listed so there's really no issue. Find whatever will fill you up the most for the calories. I would have picked a salad at McDonald's with the lowest calorie dressing, probably (their burgers don't fill me up at all).
