Is this weird?

I've been dropping weight pretty steadily at an average of 1.8 lbs a week, I have MFP set at a loss of 1.5 lbs a week. This week, I haven't changed anything, but I've dropped 4.2 lbs, I know weight loss isnt linear, and I track my weight daily with Libra so im not necessarily worried about, I just thought it was strange.. I did get a fitbit last week, and according to that, I have a bigger deficit than I originally thought, however I take that with a grain of salt. Im just wondering if its normal to drop a large amount of weight, even when you haven't had a week where you haven't lost anything? Since Saturday I've dropped something every day.

It could be timing. If you went to the bathroom before this weigh in but after the previous you might see a food weight difference there. Might help explain it.
Could also be that you are slightly dehydrated? make sure you dont fall behind your water intake(if you start to get muscle cramps thats the first sign of dehydration you might notice)

I dropped 6.6lbs last week - definitely thought it was weird. Could just be a whoosh like other people describe. One week isn't too concerning, but if you suddenly start dropping too fast for a while it would be something to bring up to a doctor.
In the meantime, congrats on the loss! And on keeping it consistent until now.1 -

I weigh at the same time every morning, but that could make sense, and no definetly not dehydrated, I get between 75-100oz of water of a day, so it shouldnt be that at least!!1 -

Thank you! yeah I wasnt too concerned however whenever anyone says they see a whosh its normally after a period of no loss, so I thought it might be something weird! lol1 -
Now just don't stress out if next week you lose a minimal amount, or even gain a bit.0

I would expect to maybe gain a little next week. But also, when I have an gain or loss that I think is weird than I'll weight myself again right away. Sometimes my scale is just off.0

I have started to get a bit of a habit of weighing myself throughout the day, I like to see how the choices i make effect me. Anyways, One day I weighed myself before Bed, And again after I woke up.. just because I was curious how much of that BMR calculation was happening while i was sleeping. obviously not that much. however one day randomly I dropped 2lbs going to sleep. Cant explain it. but ill take it!0 -

Haha i had to do that! I always have to step on mt scale twice the secons number is always little higher, but i did it three times the secons two were the same. I weighed myself before and was only up .2 lbs for the day, we will see what tomorrow brings!
