Vitamin supplements

Hi., quick question: Everyday I take a gummy multivitamin, fish oil supplments, COQ10, calcium and B-12. however, I don't record it on mfp. Do we have to? I noticed a lot of people are, and I feel it would be tedious since I take them everyday. Thanks.

I record them, it's not tedious because they pop right up at he top of your recent list. Or call them a Meal and that'll group them all together for an easy add. Recording them is important to see if you are low on any micronutrients, and some of the calories in the gummy and oil vitamins can add up!

It depends on exactly what you're tracking, how many supplements you're taking, and the macro/micro/Calorie counts for your supplements.

Like Cindy mentioned - if you're tracking micronutrients, then you'll likely want to track your supplements. If your supplements have Calories listed (your fish oil will), then if you're consuming enough of them, you'll likely want to track, just to be as exact as you can be with Calorie tracking.

If you don't track them, and it doesn't hinder your fitness/weight goals, then it's fine to not track them. If you run into problems meeting your goals, though, you'd be better off tracking them, just to make sure everything is in line. Ultimately, it's up to you.
