Hey guys! My name is Rae I live in PA. Last weekend I stepped on a scale and was horrified by how much weight I've gained over the cold months, and decided it's time to get my weight under control. I'm having a hard time staying motivated when people are often very discouraging. The truth of the matter is I am overweight for my height range and want to loose AT LEAST 20 pounds. Any tips, suggestions, stories are appreciated! Also feel free to add me!

Be patient. Be honest. Be truthful.
Use a digital kitchen scale to weigh every food you eat. Weigh meat raw, and pasta dry. Use the old recipe tool to create stuff to log accurately. Tip: Record every gram of anything put into the dish. Sum all the grams, and tell the recipe tool that the number of servings is = your number of grams. Then whether you have 200 grams or 400 grams, you can log accurately without wondering that a "serving" is.

After you truthfully and accurately log your food for a few days, the magic happens in your own head as you figure out what you will change to make your journey happen.

Biggest thing for me achieving success has been to find new ways to challenge myself...smaller obtainable goals...lost 50 pounds, so set sights on 100 pounds, then p90x, then ran a 5k, half marathon , then 2 full marathons...so on and so forth...you can do it too, also be sure to make you a priority to you
