Best burger. Backyard on my grill. There is a place close by called Fred's that has really good burgers & another the other direction from my house called Bottle Cap Alley.
Favorite toppings? Most of your standard stuff, but also I really like a burger with lettuce, mayo & then topped with cheese, bacon, mushrooms & a fried egg.0 -

Burgers are my one true love. And I'm a real snob about it, too. I get pretty het up with people when they talk about the "best" burgers from this place Pete's, where it's obvious that they're just using frozen patties, or the ridiculous love for Sparkle burger, which are very very large, but bland.
The burgers I grill in my own backyard are the best. Because I've perfected it and because I'm in total control of toppings, which should generally contain sliced sweet pickles, but NOBODY IN THE UNIVERSE has them. I like a slightly toasted bun, with jalapeno mayonnaise, spinach, sweet pickles, and cheese. Swiss is best, but I'll accept most any kind of cheese except cheddar, which I know is odd.
Second favorite? The sticky burger at hubcap grill - peanut butter, bacon, and cheese. Don't knock it 'til you try it.
Close third? Burger Palace, which are kobe beef and so juicy that the goo just dribbles right down your wrist.3 -
And I rarely eat a fast food burger (because if I'm eating a burger, it's going to be WORTH IT, dammit) but if I do, it's a double Whataburger junior with cheese and bacon. And it's probably 2 a.m.0

Ha... it was just down the street.
They also sold unfiltered cigarettes and if you finished their largest burger, they would wheel you out to the parking lot in a wheelchair.
and I might be mistaken, but I think your meal was discounted if you weighed over 300 pounds.
so.... 'Nope' never made the trip.0 -

To me, a bread and butter pickle is sweet but also a touch spicy - good, but not what I'm talking about.0 -
Ah, yeah bread n butter pickles here usually come in mild or spicy. They are a big southern thing. I'm not a fan of them. So more like gherkin or sweet relish sweet, but sliced then.0

i really think burgers like most of the ones in this thread or online are just stupid.
If you cant pick it up and get your mouth around it then it isnt a burger, it is a clump of bread and meat and salads that might as well be served separately.
A burger shouldn't be so large that it takes 3-4 bites to get from top to bottom
That being said, this it one of my favourite burgers, please dont get all upset over it being a chicken sandwich and not a burger. It is a burger here, maybe your country has weird food naming conventions

Party Pooper
Health and safety should be number 1 priority.
Imagine the paper work if you dislocate your jaw trying to eat a massive burger0 -

I love burgers but it happens to be the one food that I feel most guilty eating, even more than pizza, and ice cream for some reason. It's right up there with donuts on my guilt scale.0
