Feeling hungrier on high protein diet

Recently, I've attempted to lower my carbs and eat more protein and fat. I thought it would be the best way to lose fat, yaddy yaddy ya. Long story short, I ended up feeling much hungrier than usual, and I turned into a carb vacuum a few hours later.
Am I doing something wrong? I thought high protein and fat was supposed to reduce hunger and cravings. But whenever I eat a high protein/fat meal, I feel hungrier, sooner.
Help please.

OP, a couple of things...
I only had time to look at your totals for Mon & Tues, but I think some of the database entries you are using are incorrect, because when I added up the calories for your protein, carb, and fat totals for the day they were a bit off your total calories. I did quick math so might be mistaken, but it wouldn't hurt to check some of the foods you eat all the time against the USDA entry or the package if it has a nutrition box.
Also only looking at Mon & Tues, you are eating pretty high carb, moderate protein, and low fat. Honestly, I think you're eating plenty of protein, but you could def increase your fat more. Having said that, macro distribution isn't going to change how much weight you lose. If you felt good eating higher carb and hitting your calorie goal, just keep doing that! I've found eating pretty balanced macros works best for me - 1500-1600 cals, 90g protein, 200+g carbs, 50g fat give or take. My protein used to be around half that and increasing it def helped with satiety, but if my carbs get too low I get tired and hangry. Some people like to insist that specific diets will work for everyone, but the truth is satiety is highly individual and you just need to find what works for you3 -
Personally, I need a balance of carbs protien and fats (plus fibre) or else I am hungry. Low carb never worked for me.4

This is me as well. If I don't have a carb with my meals, I feel hungry again quite fast. Same if my meal is very low fat or very low protein.2 -
Low fat makes me hangry! When I'm starving I make a big bowl of popcorn with lots of butter and parm cheese. It's high calorie but for some reason it doesn't make me gain. Ditto for chicken with the skin on. It keeps you satiated for days. Wondering if anyone else is like this?0

Maybe it's not the "high protein" part that is affecting your appetite, but the low carb. I get extremely hungry if I don't get enough carbs. Maybe try to gradually increase your carbs to see if that makes a difference? Different people react differently to macro ratios, so you just have to discover your own comfort zone. For some this zone is higher or lower in certain macros, but there is no one common trend among all people.0
