36 yo female 172 lbs

Have been on MyFitnessPal on and off for a few years now but never fully committed. Giving this a try again and hoping to stick to it this time. I've been yo-yo'ing like crazy for the past 4-5 years and it's just getting too much for me. I need a radical change. So I'm starting out with counting calories to see how much I eat in a day with a goal of 1200. My goal is to lose two lbs every week but I know this number will fluctuate because my body is weird. I am trying to make this a lifestyle change versus a diet mentality. So I'll just keep going and hope for a change to happen if not I'll try harder. Here's to the best!
