Hi,

So I moved overseas a over a year ago and put on a bit of weight, I was already overweight to begin with. I am in the process of losing it but I'm still 15kg heavier than when I left.

I suffer pretty bad anxiety when it comes to being self conscience I am absolutely dreading seeing some family on a trip this weekend for the first time. To the point where I don't want to go and want to cancel my flights etc. it's a hot country we're meeting in and I'm so unfit still so I'll be panting and sweating the whole time and it will be mortifying. My family are all healthy, fit and slim and inwardly judgemental.

Has anyone else been in this situation or similar? What did you do? I just want to avoid them til I'm healthy again. As after this weekend I wouldn't see them for another six
Months in which I will hopefully be fitter and a little slimmer.

Please help with advice? Thank you

if they're inwardly judgmental you'll be fine... just be glad they aren't outwardly judgmental!

If you wait to have babies until you can afford it, it will never happen

If you wait to loose weight to see your family, it will never happen.

    Go see them. Now.
