Looking at alarm clock.

I've developed a habit of looking at the alarm clock if I'm not asleep in 15-20 minutes.

I also look at the alarm clock until it hits 10:30, when I try to go to sleep.

Could this be why I have trouble sleeping?

When I started waking up to run early in the morning it cured my insomnia. I always wake up prior to 5 am and haven't set an alarm in years.

But how will I know it's 10:30 if I don't look at the clock?

I used to look at my cable box clock until it said 10:30, but a few weeks ago I replaced it with a Tivo. Since then, I've been having more trouble sleeping. Think they're connected?

The other thread you created regarding sleep issues, states you suffer from anxiety and worry quite a lot about sleep, considered seeing a doctor about your sleep issues?

I also take a lot of ADHD meds. I take Sertraline and Risperidone at night.

Sometimes the later it gets, I stress more trying to sleep and having the time in bright red numbers next to me can make it worse. sometimes I turn the clock so it's not facing me.
