so I have used fitness pal on and off through out the years but now finally trying to stay consistent in use and keeping up with workouts. Started May 22nd and have been good so far, it is hard. How do you all do it?

I personally keep up with it because I remind myself that when I reach my goal, it will all be worth it. Every step, every log of food. When it is hard to work out I tell myself out loud why I am doing this. I tell myself all of the reasons I started logging food and working out. This usually motivates me.

I educated myself and found a track I want to stay on. This means, for me, that I'm never perfect, but consistent, and that I don't exercise, but I move more. I'm not being good, and it isn't really hard, so I don't just try, I do. It's being flexible, doing what I have to do, but not more, motivated by good reasons for why I should do it, and figuring out the easiest (and/or most interesting) way to do what I want to achieve. But I have also set more reasonable and realistic goals. Normal weight and improved health was what I wanted, and it is good enough for me. I don't have to be a skinny athlete.
