Greek Yogurt?

Looking for a good non-fat, SUGAR FREE (NO ASPARTAME), Greek Yogurt that I can purchase in Canada. Any suggestions? Please include how many grams of protein it has, and the size of the container.

Most plain greek yogurts will have little or no sugar added, if you don't like plain you can add honey, nut butter, citrus zest, splenda, whatever floats your boat.

Also, you probably won't find a greek yogurt with absolutely no sugar, because milk contains sugar.

There's no such thing as sugar free yogurt.

like the other person said, get plain greek yogurt, it will have some sugar it in, naturally, but that's cuz milk contains sugar. Add your own sweetener, or fruit or whatever to jazz it up for you

You can also add it to recipes in place of milk to add more protein to them.

PC 0% plain Greek Yogurt. Why no fat though, I much prefer the 2% not as bitter. (Fat is healthy and will not make you fat) These still have sugar, but quite low as it has no added sugar.

Silohuette does a greek yogurt.. you can check their website... Aspartame free... and low fat. Don't have any in the fridge at the moment to give you more details :) Similarly to other sugar free /low-fat products it doesn't taste as well as the others. I also like the 0% president choice flavours. Not completely sugar free but the portioned pots are good. Consider taking a look at the food database on MFP for PC or other Cdn brands. Have fun taste testing all the options!

i like chobani greek yogurt. it's a non fat one, but it does have some sugar, not much though! 5g per 8oz. i like to doll mine up with a sprinkle of cinnamon, honey, and granola. sometimes some fruit. tastes like heaven <3

If you have a Costco membership, the Kirkland non-fat plain greek yogurt is excellent. Don't know the details of it off hand.

Make your own, then you know exactly what's going in it. Not as hard as you might think.

Fage 0% plain is a good choice. It's fat free and only contains naturally occurring lactose sugars.

I suggest you go & buy one of each at the store before getting a bunch of any one kind. I've now tried every brand & nearly every flavor offered locally & I just hate them all. I've found I can use the plain as a sour cream substitute if I'm eating something spicy, but otherwise yuck. If you haven't tried it before, don't load up.

Trying one at a time is a great idea. Not sure how many brands sell individually, but will look into it. Thanks :)

Costco Kirkland plain fat free, Danone Oikos Plain Fat Free, or good ol Lucerne from Safeway all taste about the same, but Costco is way better on price. I can get three Kirkland containers for about the price of one at Safeway. All hail the Costco. The sugar content is fairly low (4g) in all.

If you greek yogurt you might want to give the fat free cottage cheese a try. It is high in protein. I make some okay puddings out of either.
