I log them when I make a recipe...that way I don't have to troll around on the internet to find the recipe again. :)

for tacos and taco like products

    I use

1.5 ounce of chili moledo (mild)
1 tsp of chipotle chili powder
a handful of cilantro chopped (or a tbls or two dried)
1 or two tbls garlic powder (straight no salt)
    1 tsp sugar
    1 tsp oregano

1 or a few hot peppers depending on what kind they are and how hot. 1 habernero or 1 or two jalepenos ect
    1 or two onions

and then the meat. (I use turkey breast either shredded adovada style or ground taco style.

    I do for two reasons.
    A) It helps me remember what I used if I want to make that recipe again.
    B) I log EVERYTHING that I put in my mouth. I found that if I do this, I won't cheat by "forgetting" to log that one teeny little cookie that I steal off my husband or whatever.

Yes! It can sometimes add to my iron or vitamin intake for the day.

If I'm logging a recipe I add them so the recipe is accurate. If I just toss something together I may not think about it though. I probably should. I use a lot of cumin.

I do depending on the spice and how much I use! Some spices have a negligible amount of calories, but things like curry powder and cumin... it can really add up!

I don't. They only get used when I eat dinner. My parents usually cooks dinner and I don't feel like bothering them every time asking them what spices they used :D
