Hi
I've never actually tried to lose weight before, but after a long talk with one of my doctors yesterday, I decided it's time for a change. I'm 32 years-old, 5'5" and weigh 357 pounds. This is my highest weight ever and I don't want it to get any higher. I already have mobility issues due to fibromayalgia, arthritis and some spinal cord issues, among other ailments. I see my orthopedic doctor/surgeon Tuesday for MRI's to check on my vertebrae and also to see if I have a torn rotator cuff. My weight is literally starting to tear my body apart. I have 3 beautiful little girls, ages 7 and 5 year-old twins. They deserve more than I am right now, and this mamma is gonna do everything she can to get more active, drop the weight and be able to run and play with them a lot more than I can now.
Anyway, this is just a little about me. I'm looking forward to making friends here and supporting each other.

I'll add you! Welcome to MFP! This app really has everything you need to take back control. Try just logging your normal food for a few days to get an idea of your current calorie intake, and definitely get a kitchen scale to weigh everything. You can do it!1
