Can you actually make tofu taste good? How? What about egg dishes that are yummy without adding a lot of fat? Amazing salmon or halibut recipes...Appreciate any creative ideas...

It seems to me the fat naturally in the whole egg is more help than harm but if you want to reduce it further add just egg whites from the carton.

Eggs are endlessly versatile. Try crustless quiche or frittata.

I like Trader Joe's super firm, high-protein tofu. Sautéed in their garlic olive oil. I mix it in with my egg whites and veggies. But you could do just veggies. Also ... beans!

The trick in cooking fish is to cook it just until it flakes to keep it tender. My favourite way to prepare fish is to wrap it in parchment with butter, lemon and herbs and bake it.

I use mostly egg whites with 1-2 whole eggs

And salmon with crispy skin wins every time! Or salmon cakes made from tinned salmon are pretty good too.

I add lentils into soups, use beans in my salad, and eat tons of dark greens!

Have you tried tempeh? The benefits of tofu, but better tasting in my opinion. Just bake it with a little soy sauce and you're all set.

When you're set on tofu I saw a video on how to make vegan fish and chips. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks pretty amazing! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdcCaqCDg74&t=585s

I've been eating (precooked) mussels once or twice a week. Extremely high in protein. The only problem is that my 6 year old takes as many as he can, I have to be quick to get some for myself!
