Egg whites for breakfast for me again. Low carb.

But I have a full house this AM. Made a big breakfast. Waffles are whole grain/high protein. Added walnuts for healthy fat.

Side of turkey bacon.

Nutritious! So I figured I still share with you.

And. Shhhhh. Don't tell the kids.

Egg whites? How sad... Generally people doing low carb have lots of fat. Which would mean including the glorious yolks where lots of nutrients live. And a side of mushrooms wouldn't go astray. And some cheese.

    Voila. Low carb. But tasty.

I usually low carb. I eat yolks. I think eggs are healthier with the yolks, as they have more nutrition, and of course the fat I want because I'm low carbing. (I had a high carb/low fat breakfast this morning, though, as I was hot and tired from a run and wanted what I wanted.)

My most common breakfast = omelet with 2 whole eggs (sometimes duck eggs), feta cheese, spinach, mushrooms, and broccoli. Smoked salmon is good in the omelet or on the side.
